You notice that it is always harder to push at the beginning but when the object starts to move, it only requires lesser amount of force. Aside from inertia, you remembered 1 more factor which is the static and kinetic friction. Static friction presents when an object is not in motion while kinetic is the opposite. With this in mind, how will you differentiate the properties of kinetic friction and static friction?
