Why should marijuana be legalized in the US? Science wise and logic wise. Are there benefits?
The legalization of marijuana has been discussed and debated in various countries for years now. Even though some states of the United States have legalized it, some states have not. Research continues to dominate this area, however, hesitation still persists. Not that the dilemma is baseless, but that countries or states that have legalized it have seen positive changes that can have the same influence on the country. Also, it is important to understand that legalization of marijuana should not just be related to its perception of its status quo - "drug", factors including sociological, biological, economical, criminal etc. need to be considered while making this decision. And for this, the country needs to fund more researches and approach the matter with an open mind.
