Geo-synthetics are artificial fabrics used as an integral part of a man-made project in combination with soil or rock. Geotextiles and geomembranes are the two primary groupings of geosynthetics. Although geotextile is a permeable fabric, geomembrane is an impermeable fabric. Geotextiles are planar flat sheet geotextiles and geotextiles associated products except geotextile mats.
