Why have social movements arised?
The efforts made by individuals and collectively in society have led to a large number of changes. These efforts were referred to as social movements. Therefore, a social movement can be defined as "a collective activity with a certain continuity to promote or resistance to a change in society or group to which it belongs."
According to Anderson and Parker, a social movement is "a type of complex, pluralistic behavior which gradually develops structure over time and aims at the partial or complete alteration of the social order." Lundberg and others describe social revolution as "a voluntary group of individuals participating in organized attempts to reform attitudes, behavior and social interactions in a wider society." Religious campaigns, reform movements, and radical movements are examples of social movements.
