Why do you think some of the wavelengths of light from the LED are capable of making the paper glow in the dark and others are not (hint: how glow in the dark works paragraph at the start of this section)? Remember that light must be absorbed to excite the electron, then when the electron relaxes it emits excess energy as light. Why is white light effective for activating a glow in the dark object
Atomic Structure
The basic structure of an atom is defined as the component-level of atomic structure of an atom. Precisely speaking an atom consists of three major subatomic particles which are protons, neutrons, and electrons. Many theories have been stated for explaining the structure of an atom.
Shape of the D Orbital
Shapes of orbitals are an approximate representation of boundaries in space for finding electrons occupied in that respective orbital. D orbitals are known to have a clover leaf shape or dumbbell inside where electrons can be found.

Why is white light effective for activating a glow in the dark object?
Phosphorescence is a special type of photoluminescence. They are quite similar to fluorescence. Where phosphorescent materials produce light after being energized. When the atoms inside these materials gain energy (through visible light or other sources), they become 'excited'. When these atoms return to their normal energy levels, they emit tiny packets of light called photons, which make the object shine.
