BIBO system -Bounded-input, bounded-output (BIBO) stability is a type of stability for linear signals and systems that take inputs in signal processing, specifically control theory. If a system is BIBO stable, the output will be bounded for every bounded input to the system.
For any finite initial condition and input, a BIBO (bounded-input bounded-output) stable system is one in which the outputs remain bounded for all time. If and only if all of the system's poles have real parts less than 0, a continuous-time linear time-invariant system is BIBO stable.
