When I order certain StatType ID, it orders based on the number 1-13. However I want to inject certain statType ID into the order. For example when I do: Order by p.stat_type_id It orders the data from 1-13 however I want inject certain statType ID next to each other. For example: I want p.stat_type_id=7 and p.stat_type_id=10 to be next to p.stat_type_id=2 and p.stat_type_id=4 so basically then I want the order to be like 1 2 7 3 4 10 5 6 8 9 11 12 13 My code currently Order by p.stat_type_id Maybe a simple case statement would solve this problem Inject certain Stat_type_id to the order hint here, think about not using new numbers for each stat_type_id, but rather just using the stat_type_id themselves, and then you just need to logically think about how to put 7 between 2 and 3, and 10 between 4 and 5. you only need 2 case statements and then a default case
When I order certain StatType ID, it orders based on the number 1-13. However I want to inject certain statType ID into the order. For example
when I do:
Order by p.stat_type_id
It orders the data from 1-13
however I want inject certain statType ID next to each other.
For example:
I want p.stat_type_id=7 and p.stat_type_id=10 to be next to p.stat_type_id=2 and p.stat_type_id=4
so basically then I want the order to be like
1 2 7 3 4 10 5 6 8 9 11 12 13
My code currently
Order by p.stat_type_id
Maybe a simple case statement would solve this problem
Inject certain Stat_type_id to the order
