Expert Solution
Step 1

Confucianism and it's fundamental concepts:

  • It has the major ideas of humanity, duty and ritual, these are the beginning ideas for a best self.
  • Highly influential and existing philosophy in China, with a set of belief systems.
  • One of it's key line says " Don't do unto others, what you would not want others do unto you. "
  • Confucianism is more like a guide to live an ethical life with best morale.
  • Virtues of Confucianism are: righteousness, benevolence, propriety, fidelity and wisdom.

Confucianism was taken hold in ruling affairs, due to popular belief and with its historical context in China. But, with the dissolution of qing empire during 1900's the confucian influence on government started slowing down. After the cultural revolution, it's almost lost its glory in political affairs.
