What major gases are found in the atmosphere, and what roles do small concentrations of variable gases and impurities play in weather and climate?
The atmosphere is the lightest sphere on the earth, it is composed of light gases and less dense material and so it lies on the outermost zone of the earth.
Earth's atmosphere is mainly composed of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, other gases that are sharing very little share in the atmosphere, gases like hydrogen, argon, helium, neon, etc.
All gases are playing a vital role in regulating the ecological balance on the earth, nitrogen helps in regulating the development of biodiversity while oxygen is needed for respiration to all living organisms.
Other gases help in regulating the climatic balance on the earth's surface.
