In Sum-Rates (SR) method, the temperature of the stage which is the dominant variable is calculated by solving energy balance equations for the stage.
Step 2
Limitation of the BP method is that this method usually gives the best results for the ideal or systems which are nearly ideal, having narrow-boiling range. For this method, the temperature of the stage must be affected majorly by the composition of the stage rather than the latent of vaporization for that stage.
