Expert Solution
Step 1 Theory

In case of non-polar covalent bond, there exist van der Waal force of attraction.

In case of polar covalent bond, there exist dipole-dipole force of attraction.

In molecules where highly electronegative atom(N,O,F) is bonded to H-atom, Hydrogen bonding is the force of attraction.

In molecules formed by ionic bond, there exist a electrostatic force of attraction.

Note: Non-polar bond: Bond formed by atoms of same or nearly same electronegativity.

Polar covalent bond: Bond formed by atoms having large difference in electronegativity.
