Expert Solution
Molecular equation

First we Write the Molecular equation for the reaction between ZnCl2 and NaOH .

Molecular equation :

ZnCl2 (aq) + 2 NaOH (aq) → Zn(OH)2 (s) + 2 NaCl (aq)

From this equation we get that , when ZnCl2 and NaOH react we get the Zn(OH)2 as precipitate and NaCl in aqueous solution .
