Memory techniques refer to methods and strategies that help an individual remember information better. Memory has been established to have a limited capacity and so to overcome this, memory strategies can be used to remember more information.
Memory palace is a memory technique where a person visualizes an imaginary location in their mind to store information in the form of mnemonic images. It arranges memories in the form of a familiar location which a person can navigate in their mind. The concept behind it is to mentally walk in one's memory palace to access their memories.
For example, creating a memory palace to look like a favorite playground, or an often-visited library and storing one's memories in it.
