What is ‘Desire phase' of sexual response cycle?

Expert Solution
Step 1

The Earth that we live now has evolved in gradual phases starting from chemical evolution. Abiotic evolution marked the start of evolution of life forms. Different hierarchical forms of organisms have developed from unicellular to multicellular forms.

Organisms reproduce to increase their number. The mode of reproduction may be sexual or asexual.

Step 2

The unicellular or lower grade of animals unisexual mostly. They reproduce by asexual mode of reproduction.

However as development of the organisms advanced, multicellular life forms evolved. These forms became anatomically more distinguished. Sexual dimorphism occurred. Higher animals reproduce sexually.

The act of reproduction also changed in the higher animals. Development of secondary sexual characteristics and the pleasure of the act also marked an entry into the animals, mainly the humans.
