What is a good response to? For this week's discussion, I researched Gerry Lagerberg. When originally pursuing his secondary education, he also studied law and accounting. He qualified as an accountant and thus began his career in accounting. His knowledge of law however has helped in his passion for forensic accounting. He went to work for PwC in the UK in 1983 and spent over 30 years with them including being on the Board of PwC International. Mr. Lagerberg's specialization was in oil and energy which included testifying as either a tribunal-appointed or party-appointed witness in litigation cases. In 1997 he worked on a case in Switzerland trying to trace back money put there by Nazi persecution victims before the war. He has worked on an international level during his years with PwC.
