Expert Solution
Step 1: Determination of a sex of a foetus
The sex of the fetus is determined before fertilization which depends on the presence of a Y chromosome or two X chromosomes in the fetus. If the foetus contains both X and Y chromosomes in the foetus , it forms a male and if it contains two X chromosomes it will form a female. Eventually the hormones do form according to the sex of the foetus and it will grow either testis or ovaries. These chromosomes contain few specific genes which form protein that assist in the development of either a male or a female foetus.
