But in a contemporary understanding terrorism is the systematic use of violence and fear to attack state , ideologies and other political institutions ,-causing huge loss of life and property.There are two forms of terrorism - external terrorist threats from foreign groups or threats from homegrown groups i.e domestic terrorism.
