What Do Metaphoric Rocks Contain?
What Do Metaphoric Rocks Contain?
The earth has gone through a rough phase of the geological cycle, which has changed many times. Previously earth was a hot body made of molten magma. Moreover, the climate of the earth was very harsh, as the temperature of the earth was extremely hot. By the time the climate becomes cool and the hot molten magma solidified it formed rocks. Rock is an accumulation of minerals, which originated in nature. Rocks consist of crystalline solids. Rock is categorized into three types: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphosed. When hot and liquid lava is ejected to the surface of the earth, due to the effect of air and rainfall it cools down and forms igneous rock. When the igneous rock weathers because of air, river, glacial erosion materials deposits, and it forms sedimentary rock. Igneous rock due to the earth's internal heat and different factors changes its composition and forms metamorphic rock. Rock forms the outermost rigid part of the earth, which is known as the lithosphere. Also, these solidify rocks form crust, which provides a base over which humans can perform agriculture, industrialization, and build houses.
