What are two types of conformity?

The two forms of social conformity are normative and informational conformity.
Normative Conformity
Normative conformity is described as conformity that occurs due to a desire to be liked and accepted. When most people think of normative conformity, they think of peer pressure among adolescents for a good reason.
Informational Conformity
Informational conformity, on the other hand, is conformity motivated by a desire to be correct. People are always skeptical of being incorrect because of the anxiety of not matching with anyone's preferences. They tend to appropriate their behavior accordingly for acceptance.' This phenomenon is called informational conformity because we assume it provides us with facts we didn't have before.
