The 9/11 or September 11 attacks refer the terrorist attack by Al-Qaeda, on U.S.A. There were 4 attacks. The targets were World Trade Center, The Pentagon, U.S. Capitol or the White House. The attacks were carried out by 19 terrorists by hijacking 4 flights and causing them to crash at the targets.
It was an ideological war by an Islamist extremist group against the western capitalist country. The origin of Al-Qaeda lies in the cold war of 1970s, between the U.S and the U.S.S.R.
