What are the three groups of funiculi in the white matter of
the spinal cord?

The spinal cord can be defined as the body's delicate organ that is present below the medulla oblongata. It is a thin and tubular structure that is protected by the vertebral column. It helps in the control and coordination of the body.
Funiculi can be defined as the white matter that is present in the spinal cord. Funiculi is the bundle of the nerve fibres which has three subdivision. They are posterior funiculus, lateral funiculus, and anterior funiculus. The posterior funiculus is present between posterior root zone entry and posterior median sulcus. The lateral funiculus is present between anterior root fibres and the posterior root entry zone. The anterior funiculus is present between the anterior root fibre and anterior median fissure.
