Step 1: Introduction

Plants are multicellular and eukaryotic organisms.

Plant body is made of shoot and root. Shoots are the aerial parts of plant like – stem, flowers, fruits and leaves. Root is an underground part of plant body.

Stem : Function of stem is to provide mechanical strength to plant. It also arranges leaves in ways they can get more sunlight. It’s also responsible for holding fruits and flowers. Vascular tissues such as xylem and phloem are present in stem which carries water and minerals.

Flower: Flower is a reproductive organ in plant. A typical flower is consisting of four whorls namely calyx, corolla, gynoecium and androecium.

Fruit: A mature, ripened ovary is fruit in plant. Ovary is a part of flower. Fruit consists of seeds which are ovules. Seeds are responsible for continuation for new plants.

Leaves: These are flattened structures in plants responsible for photosynthesis.
