transfusion reactions? What is agglutination?

The human circulatory system is one of the major eleven organ systems in the body and is primarily responsible for the circulation of blood through the body. The system consists of heart, blood, and blood vessels. The blood circulating through the circulatory system is responsible for the transport of oxygen and nutrients to the cells, and removal of carbon dioxide and toxic metabolic waste from the cells. Hence, the blood is responsible for providing proper nourishment and aerobic environment to the cells. Apart from this, blood is also responsible for carrying the various hormones secreted by the glands to their target organs, maintaining optimal body pH, fighting against pathogens as a part of humoral immunity, and maintenance of homeostasis.
