Pulmonary Embolism:
An obstruction of a lung artery by a material that has travelled from another part of the body through the bloodstream is known as a pulmonary embolism (PE) (embolism). A PE can cause chest pain, especially when you breathe in, shortness of breath, and bloody coughing. There may also be signs of a blood clot in the leg, such as a painful, heated, swollen, and red leg. Low blood oxygen levels, fast breathing, a quick heartbeat, and occasionally a minor temperature are symptoms of a PE. Severe cases can include obstructive shock, passing out, extremely low blood pressure, and rapid death.
