W1. Explain with a neat block diagram the measurement of temperature using a thermistor (measuring system)
A thermistor is a type of resistor with a resistance that is more sensitive to temperature than normal resistors. The term is derived from the words thermal and resistor. Temperature sensors are made up of thermistors. Fire alarms, stoves, and refrigerators are all examples of everyday items that include them. They're also utilized to evaluate the temperature in digital thermometers and a variety of automotive applications.
Thermistors monitor the temperature of the cooling water and oil, as well as the temperature of the exhaust gas, and keep passengers comfortable in the automobile (temperature control). Thermistors are used in a variety of HVAC systems to monitor room temperature and manage burner temperatures.
