Question
Using the metric system unit of measurement that makes the most sense to you. 1. Add: 3.45g, 0.06kg, 0.67g ,690mg, 2dg 2. Add: 5.2 L, 5,300mL, 0.44L, 50ML
Expert Solution
Step 1

We can add those quantities having same units so for ist question

We will convert all the units to grams

So 3.45g

0.06kg we know that 1kg=1000g

So 0.06 x 1000 = 60g

0.67g

690mg as 1mg = 10-3g

So  690mg = 690 x 10-3 g = 0.69g

And 2dg and 1dg = 0.1g

So 2dg = 2x0.1g = 0.2 g

Now since all quantities are in grams so we will add them accordingly

So

3.45g + 60g +0.67g +0.69g + 0.2g

= 65.01g
