Question

Hi, I tried to calculate the maximum error for the remainder of this Taylor polynomial but am not getting the correct order of magnitude.  I took the absolute value of e^(5/7) and got 2.04.  This is greater than 2 but less than 3, so I said "M" was 3.  Is that right?  When I calculate the maximum error using M = 3, I get something like .1822, which isn't right.  Need some help understanding how to do M and then how to solve for the error.  Thanks

5 5
*x 1 + x+
2
