FIFO :— Under this method, Equivalent unit is calculated using transferred out units and ending inventory.

Transferred out is comprise off beginning inventory and units started and completed. First beginning inventory is fully used for output then remaining transferred out units used from units started. 

Equivalent units are calculated by multiplying transferred units and ending inventory units with their stage of completion.
