University got project of Management Information System for one of the oldest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department. There are three main functions of the department Protection of the Forest Conservation of the Forest Development of the Forest Under provision of this project, a database will be developed to provide a centralized source of up-to-date information about the local Forest Conservation, Plantation, and Nurseries etc. This database will be shared with Forest Department staff and officers for quick decision making and improved management of the organization. It will also help to streamline management interventions in the long run for effective outcomes. Data received from field operations through Mobile Apps will be managed at Head Office and database will be developed and maintained by Chief Conservator Offic. Forest department is divided into four administrative Circles as below   Southern Forest Circle Banu Malakand Forest Circle Swat Central Forest Circle Peshawar Hazara Forest Circle Abbottabad Bannu Swat Mardan Mansehra DI Khan Dir Nowshehra Battagram Kohat Bajor Khyber Kohistan S.
