In simple random sampling procedure, each of the population unit has same chance of being included in the sample.

Convenience sampling: It is a non probabilistic sampling, where samples are selected according to their need to researcher. A convenient and easily accessible sample is selected from the population.

Voluntary response sampling: The respondents willingly or voluntary participate in the study and voluntary selected themselves as sample.

Stratified random sampling: First the population is divided into sub0groups, which are homogenous. Now, randomly a particular numbers of sample units are selected from each sub-group.

Multi-stage sampling: The hierarchical or relational structure of a large population is considered to collect samples through several stages, and it is considered the selection of smaller sampling units at each of the subsequent stages.

Systematic sampling: Consider the population size is N and the sample size is n. Initially a ratio k = N/n is needed to find; Now, a random number must be chosen between 1 and k. Them, every kth population unit can be included in the sample.

Cluster sampling: First the population is divided into naturally occurring groups called clusters. Here, each of the cluster is a representative of population. Now, a desired number of those groups, and every unit of the selected group is selected randomly and considered as sample.
