The table below represents three different tested areas. These areas were tested for blood infection. The result is for the number of white blood cells cubic millimeter multiplied by 100. Determine which area had an infection higher than the other using the t-test method? per Hint: normal number of white blood cells per cubic millimeter approximately (7000 2000). area A area B area C 78 55 99 45 15 98 33 41 66 81 85 88 76 40 97 94 25 81 22 56 111 47 33 77 44 75 114 34 39 94 85 18 83 99 58 94 24 45 97 64 27 85 68 24 144 55 19 92
Correlation
Correlation defines a relationship between two independent variables. It tells the degree to which variables move in relation to each other. When two sets of data are related to each other, there is a correlation between them.
Linear Correlation
A correlation is used to determine the relationships between numerical and categorical variables. In other words, it is an indicator of how things are connected to one another. The correlation analysis is the study of how variables are related.
Regression Analysis
Regression analysis is a statistical method in which it estimates the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variable. In simple terms dependent variable is called as outcome variable and independent variable is called as predictors. Regression analysis is one of the methods to find the trends in data. The independent variable used in Regression analysis is named Predictor variable. It offers data of an associated dependent variable regarding a particular outcome.
