The population P (in thousands) of a certain city from 2000 through 2014 can be modeled by P = 160.1ekt, where t represents the year, with t = 0 corresponding to 2000. In 2009, the population of the city was about 167,050. Find the Value of K (Round your answer to 4 decimal places)
Equations and Inequations
Equations and inequalities describe the relationship between two mathematical expressions.
Linear Functions
A linear function can just be a constant, or it can be the constant multiplied with the variable like x or y. If the variables are of the form, x2, x1/2 or y2 it is not linear. The exponent over the variables should always be 1.

Find the Value of K (Round your answer to 4 decimal places)
I previoulsy asked this question and the solution was wrong. It was 0.7722.
I also attempted it myself and got 0.00207 but that was also wrong even after adjusting the decimal places to 4.
