Follow-up Question

The problem solved above needs some clarification In step 3  the phosphoric acid molarity is 0.0025 based on 0.005M 2 . The assumption is 0.005/2=0.0025M

However using the same math for ZnO we get 0.004 M not 0.003 M  or 0.012/3. What am I missing ?

Further in step 2 you claim M = ppm (Mw) (1000) but this formula does not provide either answer as written unless you use ppm/Mw then divide the answer by 1000.

Please clarify the steps again more clearly.

Thank you

Follow-up Question

Please clarify how you come up with 0.0075 M ZnO unreacted from the figures in Step 3 I am not clear on the procedure. In addition for zinc oxide you got 0.003 M while the equation gives 0.004 or 0.012/3 =0.004 M not 0.003 M

More defined steps would help immensely thanks
