We need to arrange the data in ascending order to plot stem and leaf plot easily. 

We can use excel to do it. It is the easiest way. 

First we enter the given data in Excel sheet in use sort() command.

To find the shape of the distribution we find mean, media and mode of the data.

We use =average () command to calculate mean.

=Median () command to find median and =mode() command to find mode. 

If mean = median= mode then distribution of the data is symmetrical.
