Hello,

    I understand that as the electron is less massive, it will follow the path of the smaller circle. However, I do not undrstand why electron will travel clockwise... Since the magnetic field is into the page, I directed my thumb to the front and curled my fingers. Though fingers were curled clockwise. the clockwise should be applicable only for protons. As for electrons, different orentstions should apply. Hence, I assumed that the direction which electron travels is counter-clockwise. Could you please tell me the defect of my reasoning?
