    3. In a memory experiment, the mean number of items recalled by the 40 participants in Condition A was 0.50 standard deviations greater than the mean number recalled by the 40 participants in Condition B.
    4. In another memory experiment, the mean scores for participants in Condition A and Condition B came out exactly the same!
    5. A student finds a correlation of r = .04 between the number of units the students in his research methods class are taking and the students’ level of stress.
