a. What does that correspond to in mg/m³? (assume NTP)

c. If a short-term increase in demand results in longer work hours/weeks, what should
the adjusted TLV-TWA be (based on the ACGIH value above)?
Assume the new shifts are 11 hrs per day and 6 days per week
(make your recommendation using the more-conservative estimate).](/v2/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcontent.bartleby.com%2Fqna-images%2Fquestion%2F67df2f2b-9148-4dd5-b0ae-87328374df62%2F0970bc66-9199-455c-a7d4-f612c3e51def%2F1yz4fim_processed.jpeg&w=3840&q=75)

Step 1
Introduction
The threshold limit value (TLV) is considered to be a level to which a worker can be exposed per shift in the worktime without adverse effects . ACGIH publishes TLV guidelines and indices for use by industrial hygienists in making decisions regarding safe levels of exposure to various chemical and physical agents found in the workplace. TWA -TLV stands for Time Weighted Average of Threshold Limit Value, and quantifies the average level of exposure of a worker over a 8 hour shift , usually calculated as a weighted average of 6 day weekly recordings.
