There is a lot of evaluation of internal polices , rules to be followed ,compliance of laws and regulatory requirements , and procedures followed by company all these things are involved in auditor's work.
The motive of this case study is to guide us in understanding both the importance of compliance auditing, and the requirement for auditors to provide professional judgment when interpretation of rules is required.
There is fictional university's adherence to NCAA rules and regulations involved in this case study.The first part of this case study gives exposure to different resources we needed for understanding of intercollegiate athletics and compliance of rules given by its governing body, the NCAA. The another part needs to use judgement in understanding various situations to indicate compliance violations.
