(1) In the diagram clearly given that ground state of electron has 100 zJ energy. Because A state is lowest and lowest state is known as ground state.
(2) First excited state is B, while second excited state is C . In diagram clearly given that first excited state of photon ,B has 500 zJ energy.
(3) Third excited state is C with energy of 700 zJ, and when electron transition take place form C to A, where A is ground state of photon with energy of 100 zJ. Here energy decreases,so it is an emission of energy. Thus photon emitted the energy outside.
