The physician in the emergency department said billy was dehydrated and diagnosed him with type I diabetes.Right now, his vital signs are temperature 98.9, pulse 83, respiration 17, Blood pressure 100 over 43, and 02 sat of 98% on room air.he weighs 150 pounds, and his height is 62 inches.Blood glucose by gulcometer is 497, and his laboratory reports are sodium 129, chloride 90, and glucose 535. His hemoglobin Alc was 10.2, and venous blood gas is a PH of 7.17. PCO2 IS 37.PO2 IS 55.3. HCO3 is 23.3 and base excess is 1.4.
