Social media Psychology definition, causes, and effects.
Social media Psychology definition, causes, and effects.
Social media psychology grazes through the impacts and the extent of reach of social media’s influence on the cognitive functions and brain activities of an individual. Social media has been a helpful medium for information sharing and reach indeed. It has created a way for helpful criticism and people reaching out to the entire population for help or other necessities. But it also has relative negative side effects when people use it to validate their existence using this media. People use it for dating, connecting, buying, etc. When they use it for purposes that are all encompassing, they feel disappointed when they don’t get enough likes or shares. This becomes an addiction until it takes up every ounce of potential and drains their energy out, which might sometimes lead to suicidal thoughts and ideas.
