1. A = 3/4(rsq) , solve for s.
Given A = 0.75 rsq
Divide rq on both sides then A becomes
A/rq = 0.75s= 3/4s.
Divide both sides with 4/3.
4A/3rq = s.
So s = (4A)/(3rq).
2. D = S+SBC, solve for S ?
Given D = S+Sbc
Taking S as common then D = S(1+bc).
Divide with(1+bc) on both sides.
D /(1+bc) = S.
So S = D/(1+bc).
