Hi there,I hope you’re well. We have a research report/proposal due for Statistics next month. We were told to gather data on anything related to schools, learners or teachers. I have chosen to gather data on academic achievement and sports participation. I am interested in the difference between a learners academic achievement and whether he/she takes part in sports or not.I received data from the school which I put into a table. It is the academic term average for those who do sports and those who do not. We are now required to carry out a t-test (which I have done) and possibly do a correlation analysis (if viable) along with graphs etc.The t-test I conducted with the data, rejected the null hypothesis, in otherwords there is a significant difference between the two groups. I tried to do the correaltion analysis in excel with the data I was given along with a scatterplot, but it just doesn't look right. I have attached the image with the raw data, the correlation analysis and scatterplot. I would really love to do well in this course, but it is not my strongest subject.I would really appreciate your assistance.
