respond to why the following was a good example of group thinking

Hi everyone! Groupthink is described to be the practice of making a decision as a group to avoid individual creativity. A real life example that I have experienced is when there are group projects that are governed by one student. This would happen to me a lot during high school, especially during AP United States History. There was always one student who thought that they were smarter than anybody else and wanted to control what happens. This example could have stopped groupthink would have been counterargument by the students putting in their own input when deciding how the group project would go. Usually, this type of student always starts off by immediately saying how they project should go about. This is when a counterargument could have helped meet at a middle ground instead of doing what one person says. Do to not wanting problems with your class mates is why counterargument or confrontation does not take place. It can lead to unnecessary drama that makes it hard to work as a team together.
