Requirment: reply to this following discussion, kindly and respectfully:   Achor describes a social investment as a theory that states that changes in a person's personality over time are a factor of what kind of commitments and social roles the person has in his or her's life. In other words, there may have been a time in your life where you look back into the past and wonder, "Why did I act that way?" Well, it could have been because of age, what kind of education or job you were occupied with or certain situations that may have happened at that time. Achor states that "social investment" is key to the shaping of our own personalities and traits, along with time and life events. I have had one of the moments in my life where I look back and cringe at a certain way I acted in the past. When COVID-19 began, I had a huge "come to Jesus" moment. I slowly began to ponder on how I would treat people, and how it was not always in the kindest way. From that day on, I began to be more understanding with other people and how they treated me. I realized that I would act in an ugly manner because of who I surrounded myself with at that time in my life, as well as my occupation at that time. I cut off all the negative factors in my life, and since then my life has been a hundred times better. I believe that social investment is evident in everyone's life, to me it is another definition of the term "maturing".
