Use this to predict the number of sit ups a person who watches 10.5 hours of TV can do, and please round your answer to a whole number.

Y=ax+b

Here the independent variable  x is the number of hours of TV watched per day  and the dependent variable y is the number of sit ups a person can do.

Given that ,

a =-0.8 b=31.651 

The regression equation is,

Y=ax+b

  = (-0.8)x +31.651      ....(I)

 

The objective is to predict the number of sit ups a person who watches 10.5 hours of TV can do.
