The reason why I do not think so is because it is almost impossible to do a descriptive aspect of anthropological study without having an opinion of yours at all, or of someone else's opinion from the prescriptive aspect of evaluating cultures. I would say no, there are not any independent criteria that some cultures are better than other cultures. What I mean by that is no culture can be better than another culture because a culture is largely about how and the way you treat other people within that culture. Other cultures are all different from each other because other cultures all have a different way that they treat one another in their culture. With that being said, no culture can be determined as right or wrong. How do I think that this project may begin?
