network is a (Wide Area Network) WAN spanning across multiple sites. Your organisation consist
of six branches. A decision was taken to convert one branch into a Head Office intended to run a
centralised network for all other branches. Your project is to install and configure a suitable Head
Office’s network for the intended purpose. Thus far, you have decided to create and install a
testing network environment. This testing environment will be used to demonstrate how the Head
Office will be installed, configured and connected.
The testing network consists of two server machines running a Windows Server 2012 R2 operating
system
and three client machine running the Windows 8.1 operating system. A Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS) server roles, and Remote and
Routing Access Services (RRAS) will be deployed along side with the required Domain Controllers.
All client machines and member servers must join and become members of the domain.
The Head Office consist of directors, managers and staff members in three departments, i.e. the
Sales, Finance and Information Technology. All Active Directory objects must be organised using a
well-structured Organisational Units (OU) for the domain. User accounts are organised in the Head
Office OU (hoUsers) under the correct user role OU.
To accomplish this, complete the tasks in the questions that follow:

Answer the following questions regarding Account Management.

The General Manager (MG) will only join two months after his/her account

is created.

Configure the Active Directory to ensure that the MG's account is not

accessed and used until he/she joins the organisation.

Capture the screen showing the Active Directory changes and save the

screens .

There have been changes implemented to secure all current and future staff use

accounts. Use the staff001 user account to demonstrate the changes:

Users cannot log in on any given Saturday;

All passwords must meet complexity requirements and must be used up to

60 days,

Lockout user accounts may only be unlocked by an administrator.
