**Director:** We’ve succeeded in reaching parents, so our next target market is grandparents who want to put away money for their grandchildren’s education…
**Burt:** Grandparents. It was always great to see my grandparents when I was growing up. When I spoke to them over the weekend Grandma didn’t sound very good…
**Director:** (clears his throat.) As I was saying. Let’s target grandparents so this meeting is aimed at brainstorming for ideas. (Burt starts fiddling with his smart phone)
**Lisa:** I’ve got a few ideas. We could start with television ads that are…
**Director:** Good idea Lisa. I was thinking about the same thing—TV ads during hours that seniors are more likely to be watching and maybe we could use an actor who the older generation can relate to. Burt please work with Lisa on a storyboard for an ad.
**Burt:** (looks up with a startled expression) Storyboard?
**Lisa:** I actually have a few more ideas…
**Director:** Ok Lisa but not right now. We have to end this meeting. My secretary will contact you about another meeting. I forgot that I had a board meeting tomorrow and I need to fine-tune my report. (He leaves the room)
**Burt:** Lisa old girl, I don’t have a clue of what the old fellow was talking about. What do storyboards have to do with old folks?
**Lisa:** Why don’t you ever listen Burt? He wants us to make the storyboard for a TV ad that targets grandparents…
**Burt:** And what about this meeting that he wants to set up?
**Lisa:** Come on Burt. That’s his style. We meet for everything. It’s not like we’re likely to see him walking around the company. Do you notice that he never makes eye contact and is always in a rush to get somewhere?
**Burt:** (nods in agreement.) We can meet after lunch. (They leave the room)
