provide a response to the following paragraph  The death penalty is not supported by a lot of individuals. Even if someone does something wrong, they still believe that the death penalty is wrong. I completely appreciate these views, despite the fact that I do not share them. I personally support the death sentence for murderers, although the majority of people think that letting them rot in prison is the best option. Rotting in jail may seem like a wonderful idea since it gives them the chance to live as they sit about and reflect on what they did. The majority of American prisons are overcrowded. With the death penalty, we can execute those who are on death row, freeing up room in jails. Let's look at the case of the Petit family in Connecticut. Two men broke into the Petit family's home to rob them and the two men ended up rapeing the mother and burning two kids of the family alive and beating the father head in with a bat who was able to get away.  The two men who committed these acts of violence were on death row but after Connecticut changed its ruling on the death penalty in 2015 they just get to rot in jail.  I think these two should be killed so they can start their eternal sentencing in hell early. The death penalty is a must in this country.
